Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from other Cabo sunset cruises?+
Most Cabo sunset cruises are large catamarans with 30 to 80 guests, open bar, loud music, and a party crowd. Ours is a small private boat for up to 8 guests, founder-led, no booze cruise atmosphere. It's designed for couples, families, and travelers who want a quiet, scenic golden hour on the Sea of Cortez instead of a party scene.
How long is the Sunset Cruise?+
Approximately 2 hours. We depart Puerto Los Cabos Marina about 90 minutes before sunset and return shortly after dark. Departure time changes seasonally with sunset. We confirm exact times when you book.
Will we see wildlife?+
Sometimes. The Sunset Cruise is primarily a scenic and atmospheric experience, not a wildlife expedition. That said, occasional sightings of dolphins, frigate birds, and humpback whales (December to April) happen during the cruise. If wildlife is your priority, choose Ocean Safari or Whale Watching instead.
Is it good for couples or special occasions?+
Yes. The Sunset Cruise is a popular pick for anniversaries, proposals, honeymoons, and birthdays. For private bookings, we can arrange champagne, flowers, custom snacks, or a photographer. Tell us in advance and we'll set it up.
Can I book the boat privately?+
Yes. Private bookings are available for the entire boat (up to 8 guests). Most of our Sunset Cruises are booked as private experiences. Contact us via WhatsApp at +52 624 241 1226 for private rates.
Is alcohol included?+
We don't run an open bar. Beer, wine, or bottles can be added to private bookings on request. Light snacks and water are included.
What should I bring?+
A light jacket or sweater (the Sea of Cortez gets cooler after sunset), a camera, and sunglasses. We provide everything else. The boat has shaded and open seating areas.
Is the Sunset Cruise good for families with kids?+
Yes. It's calm, scenic, and short. Kids of all ages are welcome. The boat is stable and there's no swimming or water entry involved.
